Introweek 2025: What to Expect and How to Prepare

Your journey at EBS is about to kick off in style with Introweek—a whole week dedicated to helping you settle into university life, make new friends, and experience the true EBS spirit. Whether you’re new to the city or just to the campus, Introweek is your golden ticket to start this chapter with a bang!

You’re about to meet people from all walks of life, try new activities, and step out of your comfort zone. Keep an open mind and embrace the new experiences that come your way—you never know what might turn into a new passion or lifelong friendship!

The Introweek is just the beginning of your adventure at EBS. It’s a time to explore, connect, and most importantly, have fun! So get ready to dive in, meet amazing people, and start creating memories that will last throughout your university years.

EBS Survival Guide is meant for the new EBS students to get to know their university better. It includes general information about the university and student organisations, as well as advice that will help you know your new surroundings. We have also gathered all the important information in one section for international students.

Come and get your welcome bag and wristband to attend the events during Introweek. The infodesk is also your go-to spot for any questions or guidance you might need throughout the week.

During Introweek, you’ll have the chance to grab some exclusive EBS gear—whether it’s a hoodie, t-shirt, or other cool accessories. The pop-up sale will be opened in EBS Lobby at the same time as infodesk.

On Monday we will have Opening Ceremony for all of our new students. We expect you to be present – only this way you can start off your EBS journey in the proper manner! The event will take place at EBS hall 16:00.

This week is all about connecting with people, so bring your A-game when it comes to socialising. Whether you’re an extrovert or more on the introverted side, remember that everyone is in the same boat—excited, a little nervous, and eager to make friends.

We recommend to join very fun Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday evening. The meeting point is in front of EBS. Scavenger Hunt turns Tallinn old town into a playground for exploration and discovery. Teams race to solve clues, complete challenges, and navigate the city, all while getting to know EBS staff & faculty members and each other.

Get to know your new academic home! All of the study groups have mandatory information sessions about the studies at EBS on Tuesday.

This mandatory information session will introduce you to the most important aspects of studying at EBS, from academic expectations and course registration to student services, campus resources, and how to make the most of your time here.

Whether you’re curious about grading systems or eager to join student events, this session will give you the tools and confidence to navigate your new environment with ease.

The Introweek seminars are designed to help you connect with fellow freshmen, gain valuable insights for a successful academic journey at EBS, and most importantly, enjoy the process!

This is all done through interactive workshops and team-building environment.

Some events during Introweek require prior registration to secure your spot. Be sure to check the event schedule and sign up early!

If you’re even slightly interested in investing, business, or economics, this session is for you. Join Margus Rink (former CEO at Coop Pank) in an engaging and thought-provoking discussion that takes a deep dive into Estonia’s current economic climate and investment landscape. Discover why investor confidence is low, what’s affecting stock prices, and where the capital has disappeared to.

For the first time ever, EBS is launching a new tradition—the official Baptism of the New Ebsters! Join your classmates for an unforgettable afternoon of games, challenges, and bonding at Snelli Stadium. It’s all about fun, connection, and starting your EBS journey with a bang.

Throughout the week, you’ll have multiple chances to show your dance skills and have fun with fellow freshmen.

Boat Party is taking you to the bay of Tallinn for a three-hour cruise! Soak in the fresh sea breeze, breathtaking views, and an evening brimming with excitement and energy. Step aboard for a night of vibrant music, delightful company, and nonstop fun! Make sure you buy your ticket, as the places are limited and tickets sell out quite fast!
